Our Beers

We craft an ever-expanding variety of beers, with a few staples that can be found at our taproom and in local bars on a regular basis.

All of our beers are crafted using sustainably and Locally sourced malt, grown in the Carolinas and supplied by Carolina Malt House.

Here are some that we plan to keep making.

WHISTLEBLOWER
Sour American Pale Wheat Ale
Brewed with 60% wheat malt and soured with a blend of 12 bacteria in the kettle.  Each release features a new variety of fruits introduced in secondary.

5.3% ABV / 18.6 IBU / 3.8 SRM / 3.7˚ Plato

THOMAS THE DANK ENGINE
Hazy IPA
Utilizes grains, yeast, and processes developed through years of experimentation to highlight the absolute essence in flavor and aroma of fruity New-World hops.

6.8% ABV / 15 IBU / 3.9 SRM / 3.1˚ Plato

CROSSTIE BROWN
American Brown Ale 
Brewed with a complex array of toasted, roasted, caramel, and brown malts, and just enough American hops to balance and create a memorable and enjoyable brew.

5.7% ABV / 24 IBU / 21.4 SRM / 3.6˚ Plato

LIGHT RAIL
American Blonde Ale

Offers a clean and approachable character in a light-bodied but fully satisfying brew. Delicate notes of wheat malt, dextrine malt, and Belma hops give this ale a distinct flavor that is at once familiar yet all its own.

4.5% ABV / 19 IBU / 2.9 SRM / 2˚ Plato

ABSOLUTE BLOCK
Irish Dry Stout
Beginning by replicating the traditional water profile of Dublin, Ireland, we continued to brew a stout so true to the traditional style it’s perfect for a craic on a soft day, singing the praises of Charlie Mopps.

5.5% ABV / 30 IBU / 35.9 SRM / 1˚ Plato

BESSEMER PROCESS
Pale Ale

An authentic American pale ale is a work of art, a study in balance between caramel malt tones and hefty amounts of classic American hops. Ours is not a re-named IPA as is common, but a true, traditional, balanced pale ale.

6.1% ABV / 39 IBU / 8.5 SRM / 2.7˚ Plato

WEIZENBAHN
Hefeweizen
A Bavarian water profile, a famous German weizen yeast strain, complex mashing and fermentation regimens, over 60% wheat malt in the grist, and the sum of years of study in this style yield a masterpiece.

6.0% ABV / 12 IBU / 3.5 SRM / 2˚ Plato

RED LED
Irish Red Ale
One of our most popular in-house beers. Combines a touch of toasty and nutty malt with earthy hop undertones for a classic, easy-drinking yet robust ale.

5.1% ABV / 21 IBU / 12.1 SRM / 2.8˚ Plato
